Dr. Kanchan Kohli

Dr. Kohli Received P.G Research Award by the University Grant Commission in Jan. 2002 on the research topic “Novel muco adhesive formulations for periodontal diseases” for a period of two years. She has also received Best Project Award by the Hon’ble Vice President of India on 11th May 2003, technology day organized by the Department of Science & Technology under the Research and Development Scheme of the All India Council for Technical Education on the research topic “Designing of a Transmucosal Drug Delivery”. She has been invited as Resource person by various Professional bodies like AICTE, DST etc. She is nominated as member of the expert working group- Herbal products at Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, and Govt. of India-2017. She won IPA- ACG SCITECH innovation award for “Best Innovative development of solid dosage form” at 69th Indian Pharmaceutical Conference held at Chitkara University, Chandigarh, 2017. Her research proposal accepted under various Government funded projects like DST -FIST program. She has been appointed as Vice President of Good Society for Ethical Research Committee, Delhi in 2017. She won IPGA Fellowship award for outstanding contribution towards the Profession of Pharmacy. There are 15 Indian Patents to her credit. Her two patents have been accepted by ICMR. She has one US Patent on “Self-emulsifying drug delivery system for a curcuminoids based composition”. Patent no. US 8835509 B2 September 16, 2014. (Marketed as SNEC 30). Recently, SNEC-30 has been included in the emergency kit of the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO). She has published more than 210 papers in high impact factor journals, with H index = 37and more than 6187 citations. She has supervised 45 M. Pharm. and 25 PhD students.

Dr. Arti R Thakkar

Dr. Arti R. Thakkar is alumnus of Pharmacy Department, The M. S. University of Baroda, India. She was a visiting scholar at King’s College of London, UK (during Ph. D.) and post-doctoral fellow at UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA.

Dr. Thakkar has more than 15 years of National & International (India, UK, USA) experience in the Pharmaceuticals (DMPK, QA and DRA). She started her career as a QC Chemist at Elysium Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Baroda. She has worked as a faculty in few academic organizations: Parul University, Baroda; ISF College of Pharmacy, Moga; Baddi University and Delhi Pharmaceutical Sci. and Research University (DPSRU), New Delhi. At present she is Associate Professor, Amity University, Noida. In the past she has developed and established a government (CDSCO & NABL) approved commercialized drug testing laboratory named as ISF Analytical Laboratory (ISFAL), Moga.

Dr. Thakkar has 40 publications in peer reviewed journals; 66 Presentations in International (USA, UK, China) and National Conferences; 2 Indian Patent and 1 International Book Chapter, 6 Books (for B. Pharmacy Students and D. Pharmacy students), 5 Research Projects (AICTE, India; INMAS, India; DST, India; NIH, USA and J&J, USA) worth Rs. 1 crore from Indian and International funding agencies, and 8 National & International awards (including IPGA FELLOWSHIP AWARD-2019, BEST RESEARCH GUIDE-2012 award from Troika Pharmaceuticals & LM College of Pharmacy, Ahmedabad and FAST TRACK YOUNG SCIENTIST AWARD from DST, New Delhi, two times Best Poster Presentation award, DMPK Symposium, NIPER, Mohali and BEST RESEARCH PAPER AWARD from PD Sethi Memorial Award) to her credit. She is the first certified trainer of the Quality Assurance Chemist job role, by LSSSDC, New Delhi. She has guided more than 38 M. Pharmacy Students (Pharm. Analysis, QA, DRA & Pharmaceutics) and currently guiding 4 Ph. D. Students. Her core research areas are Formulations Development; Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics; Analytical & Bio-analytical Method Development & Validation; Current Drug Regulatory Affairs. She is editorial member of the IPGA Today and Editor for the official journal of the Baddi University. She is life member of IPGA, IHPA, APTI, SPER, MSU Pharmacy Alumni Association. She is member of American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists and International Society of Study Xenobiotics. She is council member in International Society of Study Xenobiotics (ISSX), Indian Chapter.

Dr. Neerupma Dhiman

Dr. Neerupma Dhiman has done Ph.D from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Biomedical Center, University of Delhi, Delhi. She has done her M.Pharm and B.Pharm from Panjab University, Chandigarh. So far she has supervised 10 M.Pharm students and 4 Ph.D. scholars are working under her supervision and guidance. She has published two books and has two book Chapters. She has filled 4 patents. She is Co-PI in one of the AYUSH. She has published the research work in internationally reputed journals with high impact factor i.e. Biochemical pharmacology, Cancer Chemotherapy and Pharmacology, International journal of cancer and Toxicological Research. She has received IPGA Fellowship Award at 33rd Annual Conference of IPGA. Currently She is Associate Professor at Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida – India. Her research interest are Medicinal chemistry, Natural Chemistry, cancer drug discovery, synthesis of antihypertensives, Molecular modeling.

Dr. Kriti Soni

Dr. Kriti Soni did her B. Pharm. from DIPSAR, New Delhi and M. Pharm. and Ph. D. from Jamia Hamdard University. She is FSSAI food safety trainer and also food supervisor and awarded the Best poster award at 5th International Conference and Exhibition on Pharmaceutics and Novel Drug Delivery Systems at Dubai, UAE. She was invited speaker at “11th World Congress on “Pharmaceutical Sciences and Innovations in Pharma Industry Feb 27-28, 2017 Amsterdam, Netherlands. She has published 11 research and review papers in peer reviewed journal. She is currently Head of Formulation Development, Dabur Research Foundation, Sahibabad

Ms. Archu Singh

Ms. Archu Singh is a PhD scholar working as an ICMR-SRF in Department of Pharmaceutics, Jamia Hamdard. Her area of research has been mainly in two domains like Cancer particularly Breast Cancer and Novel drug delivery system. Her expertise is designing and development of different nanoformulations for enhanced bioavailability. She has a research experience of one year in developing herbal nanogel used in treatment of Psoriasis for Dabur Research Foundation. She has been awarded with Hamdard National Fellowship for two years and best poster awards in various National and International conferences; most recently being at 70th IPC duly organized by IPGA. She has various publications in both National and International journals.

Dr. Kamla Pathak

Dr. Pathak, graduate and post graduate (Pharmaceutics) from University Institute of Pharmaceutical sciences, Panjab University, Chandigarh, India; earned her Doctorate in Pharmacy in the year 1991, from the same institute. With a teaching and research experience of more than 28 years, is currently working as Professor, Pharmacy College Saifai, Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences, Saifai, Etawah, India. India. She is a member of various professional bodies. Actively engaged in research on oral controlled /modulated/targeted and topical drug delivery systems has over 250 publications in journals of international and national repute. Three patents, 11 book chapters (international books) and more than 180 abstracts of the papers presented in various scientific forums are to her credit. Credited as reviewer of national and international journals of repute in the field of Pharmaceutics, has a h-index of 30 (Scopus) and has served as member Editorial Advisory Board of AAPS Pharm Sci Tech. She has handled various research projects and has guided Ph. Ds and 120+ postgraduate theses. Awards bestowed upon her include “Dr. R.L. Nicore award 2012, for best research paper in Pharmaceutics; Motan Devi Dandiya prize for best research publications in Pharmacy (2012 and 2013); Eminent Teacher Award, 2012; Nirali’s Inspiring Pharma Personality Award (2019), Research Excellence Award SPER 2019, and for various coauthored poster presentations at National Pharmacy conferences held in India. She is also associated to Indian pharmaceutical industry in the capacity of scientific consultant. Credited as reviewer of scientific projects, Knowledge Foundation, Sweden; Israel Science foundation, is an invited member of American Nano Society. She has participated in various national and international seminars/ conferences in the various capacities of organizer, invited speaker and chairperson of scientific sessions.

Dr. Ramanpreet Walia

Dr. Ramanpreet Walia has 19 years of academic experience. She has worked with various Pharmacy Colleges holding senior positions. Presently working as Associate Professor in Amity Institute of Pharmacy, amity University , Noida. She is a registered Patent Agent (IN/PA 2700) by GOI. She has worked in one of the top IPR law firm of the country. She has been awarded a Women Scientist (WOS-C) scholarship from TIFAC under DST, Delhi. Dr Walia has done her Ph.D from Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur and her Masters from Panjab University Chandigarh. She has made contributions in the field of phytochemistry and heterocyclic chemistry, During the last 15 years of her academic and research career, she has published more than 18 research papers in reputed international journals that include Hamdard Medicus, International Journal of Drug Regulatory affairs, European journal of Pharmaceutical and medical Research, etc., She has given various lectures on IPR in various sectors of Innovations at Institute, National and International level. Her recent achievement is she is empaneled as IPR Facilitator for startups by GOI (In updated list of February 2020)

Prof. (Dr.) Prerna Sarup did her Post graduation (2004) and Doctorate (2013) in Pharmacognosy from University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Panjab University, Chandigarh under the able guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Karan Vasisht, Former Chairperson, UIPS, PU, Chandigarh. She started her career in 2004 as a lecturer in Gandhi College of Pharmacy, Karnal, Haryana and later on went to serve her alma mater as an adhoc faculty until she was granted UGC Research Fellowships in Science for Meritorious Students (UGC-RFSMS) to pursue her doctoral degree. Prof. Sarup then joined MM College of Pharmacy, Maharishi Markendeshwar University, Mullana as an Associate Professor in 2014 and has worked as an active member coordinator for NAAC and NBA accreditation cells in the university. She was also convener of MMDU MHRD Institution Innovation Council. She has been associated with providing quality pharmacy education as an academician and researcher from past 16 yrs. Prof. Prerna Sarup is also a recipient of 8th Global Excellence Teacher Award - 2018 for excellent achievements in education field on National Education Day by ACFI. Presently, she is serving as Director-Principal, Swami Vivekanand College of Pharmacy, Banur, Patiala, Punjab. Her research areas of interest are standardization of plant drugs, natural product isolation, drug discovery and development of herbal formulations.

Dr. Nikunjana Patel

After completing Master of Pharmacy from M. S. University, Baroda, natural inclination for teaching drew to academic and started teaching at Shree S. K. Patel College of Pharmaceutical Education & Research, Ganpat University in 2005. During 15 years of academic experience, She was awarded a “Career Award for Young Teachers” by AICTE, accomplished various research projects, authored numerous international articles and book chapter, also affiliated with APTI, IPA, IPGA, Indian Society of Pharmacognosy as a life member. Dr. Patel have served as a reviewer in various peer reviewed national and international journals and guided 12 M. Pharm and 4 PhD students so far.

Dr. Dipti Ruikar

Dr. Sarita Yadav obtained her B. Pharm from DIPSAR and earned her M. Pharm and Ph.D. from IIT(BHU), India. Currently, she is working as Assistant Professor at MLN Medical College, Prayagraj. She has qualified GATE 2009 with a percentile of 99.87 (AIR-32). She had worked for two years as drug analyst in testing of drugs and cosmetics products at UPFSDA, Lucknow. She had received “Young Scientist Award-WF” in 2015 by SPER for her research contributions. She holds lifetime membership of APTI, IPGA, SPER, and PRISAL. Currently, she has 24 research/reviews papers to her credit in good impact journals with total impact factor around 60.
