National Deworming Day Awareness Programme by IPGA Udaipur Chapter Report: Awareness program on National Deworming Day”

One day awareness programme on Deworming was successfully completed on 04/09/2019 at theSeminar Hall, Bhupal Nobles’ University Udaipur. Previously one day workshop cumAwareness program for the students under 19 age of Udaipur region on “National Deworming Day” was on 03/09/2019 (Tuesday), but the programme was rescheduled on 04/09/2019 due tounavailability of prime speaker. The chief guest and key speaker was Dr. Rajesh Malik, MD Pediatrics, Medical Officer and a renowned child specialist from Udaipur region. Theprogramme was chaired by Dr.Mahendra Singh Ranawat, Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy, BhupalNobles’ University Udaipur. More than 200 participants including students and pharmacy professional attended theevent. The programme started by welcome of chief guest by garlanding Dr. Rajesh Malik by Dr.M. S. Ranawat&Dr. C. S. Chauhan.A welcome address was given by Dr.Mahendra Singh Ranawat, Dean, Faculty ofPharmacy, Bhupal Nobles’ University Udaipur. He focused on the National deworming aspectand need for the deworming in India, he explained the historical preview of Deworming daywhich was firstly conducted in February 2015. He also stressed on the prevention and controlmeasures of epidemic of the disease.The keynote speaker Dr. Rajesh Malik, explained very well in detail, what is deworming?Symptoms, cause, diagnosis, prevention and medication which is common problem in oursociety. Dr. Malik, conducted the lecture for about 2 hours, all the partcipants were benefited byhis message to the society, the participants also asked their querries and were satisfied by hisexpertise.The memento and a certificate of appreciation was presented to Dr. Rajesh Malik, fromIPGA Udaipur Chapter by Dr.Rajendra Pal Singh Rathore, President, Indian PharmacyGraduates’ Association, Udaipur Chapter, Dr. M. S. Ranawat and Dr.Chetan Singh Chauhanasa token of remembrance.

IPGA Udaipur National Seminaron 24th and 25th September 2017on “Current Trends and Challenges in Pharmaceutical Sciences”

An Indian Pharmaceutical Graduates’Association (IPGA) sponsored National seminar on “Current Trends and Challenges in Pharmaceutical Sciences”, World Pharmacists Day Celebration was organized on 24th and 25th September 2017 at Bhupal Nobles College of Pharmacy, Bhupal Nobles’ University, Udaipur (Rajasthan). The seminar was attended by more than 250 delegates including students and academicians, industry personals from all over the country. The students of various parts of Rajasthan and B. N. University actively participated in the seminar for various voluntary activities.The scientific committee received more than 125 abstracts for poster presentation. The honorable dignitaries in inaugural function of the seminar were Dr.Arun Garg, Secretary IPGA, Mr. P. K. Jaggi, Mr. Bhanu Dua , Mr. P. P. Sharma of IPGA central body, Dr. M. S. Rathore, Secretary Vidhya Pracharini Sabha, Dr. R. S. Chauhan, Registrar, Bhupal Nobles’ University, Udaipur, Members of IPGA State Branch, Principals of various colleges, and delegates . The seminar was started by the welcome address of Professor (Dr.), Mahendra Singh Ranawat, Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy, Bhupal Nobles’ University. He proudly stressed about the alumini of B.N. College of Pharmacy and shared their success.The dignitaries motivated the audiences to keep a positive attitude in their life to become strong personality. They enlightened the students about scope and recent challenges in Pharmacy profession. The vote of thanks was given by Dr. Rajendra Pal Singh Rathore, President IPGA Udaipur Chapter.The scientific session commenced with significant lecture of Dr. P.K. Jaggi. He emphasized role of regulatory affairs duties relating to combine their scientific and legal knowledge to ensure safe and control use of pharmaceuticals, medical products and cosmetics.In the lunch time students interacted with dignitaries and cleared their doubts. Second lecture was delivered by Mr. P.P. Sharma “Responsibilities of Pharmacist”.He explainedamongst the professional responsibilities include dispensing/supply of drugs, promotion of rational use of drugs, patient counseling, duties towards patients, general and ethical responsibilities. The concluding lecture was delivered by Sachin Soni, Director- Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Yojna, he emphasized the benefits of cheap medication under the said scheme.In the evening poster session was inaugurated by Dr. Y. S. Sarangdevot. The students presented posters on topic related with the theme of seminar and other important aspects of pharmacy stream. The first prize for poster presentation was Mr. Surendra Singh Saurabh second were Mr. Bhupesh Sharma & Ms. Ferzana Bano and third were Ms. Payal Suthar& Mr. Rajkota. On 25th September, the guest of chair was Dr. J. S. Ranawat, President, B. N. University, guest of honor, Dr. Ajay Phatak DCO- Rajasthan and President IPGA state branch, Dr. Alok Khuteta, Registrar, Rajasthan Pharmacy Council. The World Pharmacists Day was celebrated, where more than 400 pharmacists from various part of Mewar (Banswara, Rajsamand, Chittorgarh, Dungarpur, Bhilwara, and Udaipur) gathered to witness the event. During this, all the pharmacists collectively took The Pharmacists Oath; felicitation of all pharmacists was done. The winners of poster session were awarded with prizes. The function was concluded with the vote of thanks Dr. R. P.S. Rathore, President, Udaipur Chapter and ended with Lunch. The delegates departed with promise to meet on the same date next year i.e 2018.

Pharma Summit (25th Feb, 2017),IIHMR University

School of Pharmaceutical Management, The IIHMR University in association with the Indian Pharmaceutical Graduate Associate (IPGA) conducted one day conference with the title of Pharma summit 2017 on Saturday, 25 Feb 2017 with the theme of Emerging Careers in Pharmaceutical Industry emphasizing on Clinical Research, Pharmacovigilance, and Data Management at The IIHMR University, Jaipur. The IPGA team from Central and Rajasthan Branch coordinated well to give the momentum to the Pharma Summit 2017 and succeed to got more than 600 participants. The objective of the event to make aware students about the career perspectives in these emerging areas.More than 600 students, principals, and faculty members of 30 different pharmacy colleges across the Rajasthan and other vicinity areas like UP, MP, Delhi, Hariyana attended the conference and got benefitted with the intention good career option selection in clinical research, pharmacovigilance and data management. IPGA sponsored National Seminar on current status of Regulatory Affairs at Udaipur

Indian Pharmaceutical Graduates’Association (IPGA) sponsored National seminar on “Current status of Regulatory Affairs”, World Pharmacists Day celebration and Mega Pharma Job Fair was organized on 24th and 25th September 2016 at Bhupal Nobles College of Pharmacy, Bhupal Nobles’ University, Udaipur. The seminar was attended by approximately 982 delegates including students and faculty members from all over the country. The delegates came from all parts of Rajasthan, Gujarat, M.P., U.P., Delhi, Haryana, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, UK, CS, and Himachal Pradesh. The scientific committee received more than 125 abstracts for poster presentation. The honourable dignitaries in inaugural function of the seminar were Mr.Atul K. Nasa, President of IPGA, Mr. S.L. In the evening poster session was inaugurated by Dr. S.L. Nasa in presence of honourable Vice Chancellor of Bhupal Nobles University Udaipur, On 25th September, World Pharmacists Day was celebrated, where 800 pharmacists from various part of Mewar (Banswara, Rajsamand, Chittorgarh, Dungarpur, Bhilwara, and Udaipur) gathered to witness the event. During this, felicitation of senior most pharmacists namelyMr. S.L. Nasa, Shri Lajpat Rai and Mr. S. K. Sharma was the attraction of the event. The winners of poster session were given away with prizes. All the pharmacists collectively took The Pharmacists Oath. A Mega Job Fair was organized in the campus of Bhupal Nobles’ University, where 28 reputed Pharmaceutical companies participated to recruit dynamic and talented pharma graduates and post graduates hailing from various part of the country.
